SPORTSMANSHIP SPOTLIGHT: SAN DOMENICO SCHOOL PARENT COMMUNITY

We’d like to recognize the outstanding sportsmanship displayed by the San Domenico School parent community during a recent varsity soccer match against Making Waves Academy.

Throughout the game, San Domenico parents remained positive, respectful, and composed—even as competition intensified. Their encouragement, with messages like “Stay focused” and “Let it go, play your game,” set the tone for a supportive sideline environment.

 One Making Waves supporter, seated among the San Domenico crowd, shared how welcomed and included they felt—turning what could have been a tense experience into a true sense of community. In a thoughtful gesture, a San Domenico parent even captured and shared video of two Making Waves goals during the match.

This is what high school athletics is all about—respect, community, and sportsmanship.
