Arroyo High School Football - Sportsmanship

Arroyo High School:

Sportsmanship was on full display during the NCS Division 5 Semi-Final game featuring the Arroyo Football Team. An athletic trainer from Ferndale HS shared that before the game even began, Arroyo’s athletes were polite, respectful, and genuinely thankful while being taped.

That same positive attitude carried onto the field, where Arroyo players continued to show class by offering compliments and encouragement to opposing players between plays.

In a time when unsportsmanlike behavior too often makes headlines, the Arroyo football team stood out as a true breath of fresh air — exemplifying the respect, integrity, and character that high school athletics is all about.
