Medical practitioners interested in becoming CIF assessors may contact Gil Lemmon at the NCS office (925) 263-2110, x221 to arrange for a certification class. Medical practitioners include physicians, registered nurses, licensed nurse practitioners, certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, physician's assistants, nutritionists, health educators, exercise physiologists or other persons approved by the State CIF.

Note: Assessors can not be active coaches. Individuals who are related to either the coach or to one or more student-athletes should not be involved in the testing process for that school.

Current CIF assessors will be contacted regarding re-certification for the 2017-18 academic year. Attendance to a re-certification class is not required, however online testing must be passed at 80% or better.
