North Coast Section Partners with Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland
North Coast Section has partnered with Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland to provide more comprehensive medical service at NCS/Les Schwab Tires Championship Series events. This partnership will create a safer environment at championship events where the service is provided. Up until this year NCS has only arranged for emergency medical service at football games and a few soccer contests. With the assistance of Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland NCS will provide, to the limits of approved medical personnel available, emergency medical service at as many NCS/Les Schwab Tires Championship events with the exception of golf, swimming, tennis and badminton. NCS commends Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland for their participation in this very important program. See below for more information.
Outline of the EMS Program
To participate in this program individuals must register with NCS and meet the following requirements:
- Be certified according to the following:
- Medical Doctor
- Certified Athletic Trainer
- Emergency Medical Technition
- Paramedic
- Complete a Registration Form and either mail or fax to the NCS Office
- Provide proof of liability coverage
