Other contests may also be available live in earlier rounds depending on the participation of the involved schools in the NFHS Network School Broadcast Program.
Fans, family and alumni unable to attend the event can tune-in live from wherever they are on the NFHS Network. The NFHS Network is the most comprehensive location for coverage of boys and girls high school sports, performing arts and activities.
Russ Peterich Presented the NCS Distinguished Service Award

|Russ Peterich, longtime teach, coach and athletic administrator was presented the NCS Distinguished Service Award at the October 20, 2014 Board of Managers meeting in El Cerrito, CA. Mr. Peterich has served NCS member schools for over 40 years, is a member of the California Coaches Hall of Fame, has received Teacher of the Year honors in the Santa Rosa City Schools District and has served on many NCS committees, serving member school and over 80,000 student-athletes. Congratulations to Russ!!|
CIF FEDERATED COUNCIL APPROVED NEW PRACTICE GUIDELINES STARTING WITH THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR
The CIF Federated Council approved new practice guidelines at their recent Federated Council meeting in Los Angeles May 2nd. The guidelines limit all athletic activities to no more than eighteen (18) hours of practice time per week and no more than four (4) fours in any single day.
